The city has a significant archeological heritage, several museums and performance places and a cultural calendar with events ranging from reggae concerts to opera performances.

Málaga

Málaga, the capital of the province and the second-most populous city of Andalusia. Málaga's history spans about 2,800 years, making it one of the oldest cities in the world. The archaeological remains and monuments from the Phoenician, Roman, Arabic and Christian eras make the historic center of the city an "open museum", displaying its history of the city.

Ronda

Ronda is located about 100 km west of the city of Marbella and home of the famous the Puente Nuevo bridge that spans the canyon separating the city. The city has a rich history dating back to the sixth century BC. The main sights of the city are the bridges and The 'Corrida Goyesca', a unique and historical bullfight that takes place once a year in the Plaza de toros de Ronda, the oldest bullfighting ring in Spain.
